Team Ivie - The Journey of Life & Health of a Transplant Recipient's Family

Today I want to share with you a family that has overcome many obstacles in their life, and continue to battle on a daily basis just to survive. They haven't been dealt the best hand of cards when it comes to medical health. For years they have had to struggle with medical issues, one after another, and the end is nowhere near.

In spite of all of the hardships that the medical strain puts on their lives, they continue to maintain such an inspirational persona. I have known this family for many years, and even though they live across the country from me, they continue to be a big part of my life, and I cherish their friendship like no other.

Jerusha and Ian Ivie are two of the best people I know. Their strength and will to not let their health struggles rule their lives amazes me. Their Facebook page, Team Ivie - The Journey of Life & Health of a Transplant Recipient's Family, chronicles the journey they go through on a daily basis with Ian's medical challenges.

When you have medical challenges such as this, there comes financial hardships right along with it, especially when both spouses have extreme medical problems. You see, Jerusha has been battling symptoms even worse than mine for many years now, and just finally got a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia last month. This puts an even larger strain on finances than normal.

Jerusha does everything she can to help. She is a business owner. She is co-founder of a store called Smarty Pantz Kids Used Clothes in Visalia, California. She also hand makes wreaths that she sells. You can see them or purchase one for yourself on her etsy shop.

To try and help with their financial struggles, there are a couple fundraising efforts being put on by some of the Ivie Family's friends!

The first one is from a design created and sponsored by: Torreh Pearl Uppercase Living Demonstrator and Cecile Phillips, they have this BEAUTIFUL ribbon and Team Ivie's name to display on your car, in your office, or
somewhere at home. It is from UpperCase Living.
Local cost is $20 with pick up or delivery option. Cost for anyone outside their area will be $20 plus shipping.

The second one is an online AVON event where 100% of the profits raised will go towards Team Ivie. This event starts NOW and runs through September 14th. Please invite all your friends and family to shop now! Visit her site and click on online events. Use code TeamIvie and 100% of the profits from your order will go towards this wonderful family. All orders over $30 ship free!

Or, Join her AVON team (reference code jpulley) today and she will donate $25 to the Ivie family when you place and pay for your first order of $100. It's only $10 to get your business started. No parties, no inventory, no quotas! Forty percent commission and a free web page to advertise your business.

You can see more information about the AVON event at their Event Facebook page!

Another way you can help, if you don't want Uppercase Living, wreaths, or AVON, is a monetary donation via the Team Ivie FundRazr link. Remember, any value, no matter how small, matters! Every penny adds up!

Please consider helping this family, or any other family in need of assistance due to medical necessity, whether it is donating financially, donating blood, or putting yourself on the organ donation registry! You could save a life!
